Divi Network Snapshots

Part 1

Download the latest snapshot zip from the "Mainnet Zip" button above, and once it is finished, double-click the downloaded file. This action will unzip the file and show a folder named DIVI-Snapshot.

1. Inside this folder, you will find 2 subfolders.
   • blocks
   • chainstate

Remember the location of these two folders we will need them in Part 3, Step 1.

Part 2

1. Close Divi Desktop Application (exit, do not minimize, close completely)
2. Open Finder
3. Click GO at the top of Finder
4. Select the "Go to Folder" option in the drop-down list
5. In the "Go to Folder" Search Bar enter ~/Library/Application Support/ (pay close attention to the placement of the tilde ~ )
6. Click the blue Go button
7. Open folder titled "DIVI" (not Divi Desktop)
8. Clean "DIVI" folder by sending all other files, except the above, to trash.

Part 3

1. Open your DIVI-Snapshot folder from Part 1, Step 1
2. Move or Copy (2 Folders): blocks and chainstate
3. To the "DIVI" Folder you just cleaned above (Part 2, Step 8)
4. Close Finder Window

Part 4

1. Restart Divi Desktop Application. (If "Primer" pops up click "Cancel" button)
2. This process takes on average 5 to 20 minutes to complete though it does depend upon your computer. Enjoy your quick snapshot sync!

Part 1

Part 2

1. Close Divi Desktop Application (exit, do not minimize, close completely)
2. Press and hold Windows Key + R Key, this will cause a run box to pop up.
3. Type %appdata% in the run box and hit ENTER.
4. Open folder titled "DIVI" (leave Divi Desktop untouched).
5. Clean "DIVI" folder by sending all other files, except the above, to trash.

Part 3

1. Open your DIVI-Snapshot folder from Part 1, Step 1
2. Move or Copy (2 Folders): blocks and chainstate
3. To the "DIVI" Folder you just cleaned above.
4. Close Window file browser.

Part 4

1. Restart Divi Desktop Application. (If "Primer" pops up click "Cancel" button)
2. This process takes on average 5 to 20 minutes to complete.

2. Open Linux Home Directory using File Manager.
3. Search for .divi (if you don't see dot files on Ubuntu hit CTRL+H).
4. Open .divi directory (leave Divi-Desktop untouched).
5. Clean .divi folder by sending all other files, except the above, to trash.

Part 3

1. Open your DIVI-Snapshot folder from Part 1, Step 1
2. Move or Copy (2 Folders): blocks and chainstate
3. To the .divi Folder you just cleaned.
4. Close Linux file browser.

Part 4

1. Restart Divi Desktop Application.
2. If "Primer" pops up click "Cancel" button.
3. This process takes on average 5 to 20 minutes to complete.

Part 1

Download the Divi-snapshots.tar.gz from the "Mainnet Tar" button by copying the link and using wget command on your server.

Untar the Divi-snapshots.tar.gz

1. Inside this folder, you will find 2 subfolders.
   • blocks
   • chainstate
2. Stop divid (you must stop daemon before continuing).

Part 2

1. Open ~/.divi
3. Remove all other files and directories.

Part 3

1. Return to the DIVI-Snapshot directory.
2. Move the two subdirectories (blocks, chainstate) to the .divi directory you just cleaned.

Part 4

1. Start divid
2. This process takes on average 5 to 20 minutes to complete.
